OMG. We couldn't finish half.. Pastrami quesadilla (double tortillas) Halfiies with rings and zucchini. Good that they reopened after the fire. Great service. Wonderful staff!
Grew up eating here and continue to do so when coming to visit my parents!! Service is always so fast and friendly!! Burgers are tasty and they always give way too many fries!
The best pastrami's I have ever had. It's piled high. Enough for your buck. Delicious southern fried mushrooms. Excellent french fries. Good fast service. Nice eating area.
I treated my roommate, caretaker to Golden Ox Burgers. The name threw me off! I thought it was a China related eatery! Golden Ox?! I ordered the pastrami sandwich combo my buddy had the turkey sandwich combo! And! Boy! Oh! Boy! That pastrami sandwich was HUGE!
Golden Ox gets 5 stars from me because when there was no internet or reviews. My dad would bring us to Golden Ox and try the Pastrami. Pastrami was new to us in the 90's so Golden Ox was like a portal to a new dimension of sandwiches. Not sure why they have such a low rating but for my family. We thank golden ox for all the good times we had as a family going to their establishment. Man, I've been looking for a competitor to golden ox in San Diego, but yet to find any place with a solid Pastrami like Golden Ox! Thank you Golden Ox.
The new owners , Chris (formerly owned by former "Chris Burgers" and Louie from ("Burger Zone") worth the drive from Downey !! Delicious !!! Large Servings!! Clean and organized. Friendly Staff !! It's a must if you want Fresh and Tasty large portions Of delicious Fresh Food !! Extremely Clean inside!! They do speak English, Spanish and Greek . Extremely CLEAN inside!!
